100+ Men’s Breakfast – Resounding Success

Hey everyone, yesterday was an awesome day. We celebrated our 100 Men Breakfast at 8:30am Atlantic time (7:30am EST) at Allen Temple AME Church in Somerset, Bermuda. Yes, that’s my home church and where I worship every Sunday morning (unless sick or abroad ). Every January we invite all the Christian men (irrespective of denomination) and encourage them to invite unsaved friends and family to our church for a time of food and fellowship. We’ve been doing this for 19 years now, and yesterday was no different. We were fed both physically and spiritually, and left full in both respects. Pastor Dean Smith from Open Door Christian Fellowship shared the Word, and it indeed grew mightily within all of us and prevailed! His text was Psalm 37-15-17. Our theme was “Men Under Construction – Building A Life That Honors God”. It was great to see old friends and make new friends. Oh how good it is for brethren to dwell together. Looking forward to next year already God willing. If you’re ever visiting Bermuda during the 2nd or 3rd week of January, you are most welcome to attend, just let me know!
